I’ve got a large flock of Muscovys, maybe 20 at peak in Hawaii. Pretty mixed, well fed, access to water and swimming. Half left and one showed up today. A year later. Is that unusual? I had a brutal mating season around this time last year and I think that caused separation. But am surprised one has returned. The mating season for them has been pretty typical around Nov/Dev to March.
Is this common? Uncommon? Their seasons may be odd due to my location, but in all the years I’ve not had this happen before, or if one runs off, it usually comes back within a week. Not a year or so.
