Delilah slammed the door, grumbling.

Beatrix watched Tomoe and Delilah's exchange, then saw him coming in her direction. She started to climb the tree, but her wings made it difficult. She fell to the ground with an undignified squawk before the wind was knocked out of her. She lay there, trying to get her breath back.

Nexon walked to his foster home. He opened the door and walked in he walked towards the stairs but noticed his foster mom at the couch in the living room, she was a small petite woman who rarely ever spoke but when she did she spoke so softly it was hard to hear most of the time, he walked into the living room dropping the debit card in the table. "There's your card," Nexon said before beginning to head to the stairs once again. He stopped when he heard her say. "Nexon you got to stop doing this," she said softly. Nexon looked at her raising an eyebrow. "Why should I?" He asked in a level voice. She walked towards him going to set a hand on his shoulder, but before she could Nexon flinched and swatted her hand away. "Don't you touch me!" He spat his eyes wide, even though he reacted aggressively fear was evident in his eyes before all emotion left them. He rushed up the stairs to his temporary room ignoring her calling out to him. He rushed into his room slamming the door behind him leaning on it letting out a shaky breath.

Nexon stood up taking off the hat he had been wearing and began to drag his hands through his hair but stopped when he faelt something, furry? Nexon walked over to a mirror that hung on the wall by the door. He gasped aloud seeing the ears on his head.

Beatrix scrambled to her feet, ready for a fight - small stature, scruffy red hair, blazing red eyes, leather jacket, "Dead Kennedys" t-shirt, worn jeans and converse high-tops, multi-colored wings sticking out the bottom of her shirt - the whole Beatrix package.

(Red eyes are actually possible. They're caused by a harmless leakage of blood into the iris.)

Sam got home and parked her truck in the garage and brought the groceries in the house. She put them away and saw her mom's note that said: Sam, please get your homework done, do the dishes, and sweep. Thanks, Mom. She got everything done and got on the computer to search about her ears. She found out that she was a neko. "Huh. Weird." She shrugged and shut the laptop. She made dinner as her mom got home.

"DIE!" Kaleb yelled as his mom got home. "Whoa. Keep it down." She laughed. "Hey mom; DIE!" Kaleb yelled as he killed another Call Of Duty person. "What's for dinner?" He asked. "NOOO!!! I died!" He fake cried. "Okay turn it off and come get your food." They were having Chinese takeout.
