Sam walked to her locker and grabbed her backpack. Her mom was already in the parking lot in the silver Chevy; her black Dodge was in the shop. The transmission was being replaced, it would take another day. Sam hopped in the truck "Hey Mom." She buckled her seatbelt as her mom pulled out of the parking lot.

Kaleb ran from the gym to the bus stop. He almost missed it and he sat in the backseat. "Hey." He said to some of the other kids on the bus.

Keiko looked over, not smiling. "Hi...?" She's seen this kid around though they haven't talked much. Keiko looked back down at her drawing on her lap.
