Max flopped down onto her bed, in between the open boxes. Her mom, brother, and Max just moved. She was exited to start school tomorrow. She had her headphones in her ears as she looked through the photos on her phone. She saw her brother walk into her room start looking through a box. Max groaned and pulled one head phone out. "What'dya want, twerp." She said, using the name she usually called him. Tim grinned. "Looking for your DS." He said, rifling through a box. "No. Get out... Play your own DS." She said, standing up from her bed and closing the box he was looking through. "But you have all the cool games!" He whined. Max pushed him out of her room and into the hall. "Then go to the store and buy your own games. Now get lost." She said, and shut the door in his face before he could answer. Tim laughed and ran down the hall to his new room. Max sighed and sat in her plush spinning-rolling chair that was in front of her computer desk.

Max heard a knock on the door and groaned, couldn't anyone ever give her a bit of peace? "What?" She yelled, pulling a headphone out again. "Mom said you have to take me to the game store to buy a new game for my DS!" Tim said through the door. Max sighed and stood up. "Fine. Go grab you money and coat, and let's go." She said, running a hand through her hair and slipping her tennis shoes on. She was wearing her stripped tank top and shorts, her favorite outfit. She grabbed her wallet, with her drivers license and bank card, her phone, and her coat. She walked out to the garage and got into her Chevy. Which she got for her sweet sixteen. Tim jumped into the passenger seat as Max started the car.
