A new found love for quiche to use up eggs...whats your fave recipie???

    Love making quiche, it is soo easy and uses up 3-5 eggs at a time, perfect!!!
    I have tried:
    caramalised onion and feta
    bacon
    mushroom and pepper
    sundried tomato

    Need more yummy ideas

    My favorite is bacon with spinach using swiss cheese. If I happen to have ham, I'll use it instead of the bacon. Great stuff!

    My fiance made these mini quiches with pre-made tarts - you know, the kinds you make butter tarts with? They were muffin sized. No crust on top. I am asking her what she put in it now. I'll let you know. I am not even a fan of quiche normally, but she made it sooo good. I ate six of them LOL.

    Oh yeah those pre-baked tartlets are life-savers, lol. ooh yeah definatley tell me..cant wait!![​IMG]

    She says she can't remember, but threw in a lot of spices and herbs. Garlic, asparagus and of course eggs. I am going to force her to make it for me again now :drool

    Get her to make loads and freeze them, and then you can eat them whenever you want...the chickens can eat the crumbs [​IMG]

    My fav is based on a greek pizza. I make a crustless version in a 9x13 pan with 12 eggs, feta cheese, artichokes and kalamata olives. After baking to the clean toothpick stage cool it and cut in squares and wrap in foil. My truck driving hubby loves taking them on the road cause it is ok cold but better when warm.
