A new gal to chickens and BYC!

Hi y'all! I am in Arizona (near Phoenix) - hoping to be able to raise some laying hens in this high-heat. We'll see, eh?
Hopefully, with some help from my new BYC friends I can learn how to help my chickens to be happy and healthy.
I have 2 who are just sooo sweet! I am amazed to be thinking "I love you" about
a couple of chickens! lol. One is a barred rock - she is the sweetest one - comes right to me! And the other one is a red Ophlenger (I am sure my spelling for that one is wrong - lol!)
