Hi My name is Alli I live up in the mountains of Góis Central Portugal ..I have bantams and muscovies . New to BYC have some experience with bantams only ..learnt A lot from reading BYC before joining . I live in a rural village ..have a good amount of land have rescue cats and dogs also ..I'm part way through studying advanced science in organic cosmetic formulation I grow all my own medicinal plants herbs and flowers all organic for hopefully launching a small indie brand doing the more unusual and forgotten for creams lotions tinctures soaps candles and many more ..My past has been as an Engineer for recording studios and a musician ..I have always lived rural and had Bantams ...with my 2 children and Husband ..moved to Portugal 11 years ago and love it .

My parents lived near Coimbra in a little village. My other relatives live Nearer to Lisbon. I’m English, but live in Alberta Canada now.

I grew up only knowing few words but I'm currently learning Portuguese so I can speak to my Avó, who doesnt speak English.
