I was sitting in a chair yesterday in the chicken pen when my buff orpington pullet flew up on the chair back and she decided that the back of my head needed prening.

( you know your hair looks rough when the birds want to fix it [IMG] )

It just gave me chills when she ran her beak over my hair , felt odd but, nice. I wonder if she thought " what strange feathers?"

That sounds cute! I'd like to see a pic of that! [IMG] When I was younger I had a cat that did that every morning to wake me up. Never heard of a chicken doin' it though! Cute!

Well, chickens want their roos to look nice. Perhaps she was just tidying you up a bit...LOL. My chickens get on the back of my chair while sitting out side only if I have something they want....(chuckle to you 'big daddy')

My LS does that!! [IMG] One time i was wearing a feathered ear-ring, and i swear she was over the moon because she actually had a feather to preen [IMG] [IMG]

It's kinda cute of them though, isn't it? [IMG]
