A new weird feeling

I was sitting in a chair yesterday in the chicken pen when my buff orpington pullet flew up on the chair back and she decided that the back of my head needed prening.

It just gave me chills when she ran her beak over my hair , felt odd but, nice. I wonder if she thought " what strange feathers?"

When I was younger I had a cat that did that every morning to wake me up. Never heard of a chicken doin' it though! Cute!

Well, chickens want their roos to look nice. Perhaps she was just tidying you up a bit...LOL. My chickens get on the back of my chair while sitting out side only if I have something they want....(chuckle to you 'big daddy')

One time i was wearing a feathered ear-ring, and i swear she was over the moon because she actually had a feather to preen

It's kinda cute of them though, isn't it?
