Hi guys!
I've stalked a lot of questions/answers on here for awhile and finally decided I really needed to join! I've hatched out my first successful batch of chicks, and have now got the bug and have got 24 more eggs in the incubator!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Just got into chickens, have always had chickens growing up but never incubated etc.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Two hens, 5 chicks!
(3) What breeds do you have?
That is a good question...the two hens are leghorn crosses, the 5 chicks I have hatched out include purebred Silkies and some Isa Brown x Rhode Island Reds.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
After googling lots of questions about incubating and chick health!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Horses - currently waiting for my mare to foal down end of this month or early November.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm married with 3 beautiful girls, we homeschool and love doing life especially when we get out to my folks farm.
