A pair of 13 and 14 weeks old silkies.. gender?

You can’t color sex partridges until maybe 2-4 months old. Mystery has made this bizarre claim he/she can sex Silkie chicks for awhile, and it’s just not true. There is no way to sex Silkie chicks other than a dna test.

Whatever, believe what you want too.
Been doing this type of thing for years, self trained.

Don't want too fight with anybody on this subject. I know what I know, & I try to help others with the knowledge that I have learned.

I've got 28 silkie eggs to put into the incubator.

I don't see what mysterychicken is seeing. They look like pullets. Here's my roughly 3 1/2 - 4 month old cockerel. Notice the comb and streamers on his head. The random stray feathers.

I guess they must be some Oddball silkie pullets. Usually streamers mean male. I've only had 1 pullet with streamers once, but we traded her for a Thanksgiving Turkey.
