(Useless fact: I always wanted to live in either a geodesic or dome shaped house... and would be in heaven if I could have a replica of Bag End to live in!)

Lord of the Rings; Bilbo and Frodo Baggins hobbit home. Carved into the side of a hill with a round wooden front door, windows, rounded inside wooden walls, a fireplace with hearth, cozy kitchen and pantry. Just a lovely lovely little home. Peter Jackson's version of it for the films was just dreamy.

OK, back on topic... I would think that adding upper vents would be a very good thing. Since heat rises, if you place a vent higher up it should help relieve the build-up. -- Let us know what you do. Love your coop design.
