I have a heated chicken waterer in the coop that prevents the water from freezing when it was around 0 degrees out. The past week it has been around 20 and I noticed the water became lukewarm, and the chicken stopped drinking from it about a week ago. I tried cleaning the waterer, putting fresh water and made sure the electricity wasn't in the water but still they are not interested. However they seems to be doing fine, and they are still laying faster than I could eat. The past few days I noticed they are eating the snow in the run. I guess that's where they are getting their water for the past week. So I'm just wondering should I do something about it and get them to drink from the waterer in the coop or should I just leave them be.
