Well I am walking into the house as I notice that my breeder chocolate drake is floating dead in on of the fish ponds. I know he shouldn't have drowned cuz it's a sloped side no reason or way he could drown. That pizzed me off to lose him cuz he threw really nice offspring. Well at least I don't have to buy a replacement for him cuz I can just hold over one of his sons. But still come on -_- After I fish him out and look him over I go to the basement to check on my coturnix and lovebirds. Well if my only pair of lovebirds that I got saturday the male had JUST died. He was on the floor in the middle of the cage still limp. I figure he spooked at something and then broke his neck. That really made me mad, losing the male that is Lutino and I liked him way more than the hen. Why must I lose the stuff I like? Days like this just make you want to quit with birds. >.< Now I need to go hunt for a new male or a new pair. UGH just needed to vent.

more room out than in, by all means let it out, sound like you had a bad day so far sorry to hear it

i would keep an eye on your other birds, a pair dying suddenly on the same day could mean illness not accidental. sorry for your losses.

I have a hard time with wild caught lizards, I knew that they could get sick but I just wanted lizard or frog for my tank. I have had to switch to c.b only as I hated when they would would dye, nothing could save them as I loved the itty bitty lizards and frogs, no vet would see them

Yeah they are separated from everybody else. In a different part of the house. Just sucks to watch $35 flop over and die.
