"Well I never said that" Eva said, "ok fine just wait here and yell up to me if you see him coming" Eva said as she started to climb up the tree.

"Okay," Cedar said looking around, "HES COMING!" He yelled seeing the bird about five feet away from the nest.

Eva jumped out of the tree and into a bush "Come on!" she whispered/yelled
Josh dived into the bush and turned around and saw the hawk fly into his nest, "How are we gonna save him now?" asked Josh
"I have a plan" said Eva
"As long as it's not Cedars" Josh said with a snicker

Cedar hoped that Eva's plan would work.

"Ok so, You and Cedar will go out in the open and make lots of noise, and when the hawk leaves the nest to get you, I'll go up and get Mark!" Eva said

Cedar followed Josh to distract thr bird, he started squeaking and waved around some red leaves.

Eva saw the hawk look over at Josh and Cedar, it then got up and dove at them. Eva climbed up the tree and into the nest, she found Mark unconscious in the nest, she picked him up and carried him back to the ground. "Mark, Mark!" Eva said shaking him trying to wake him up.

Cedar saw the hawk zooming towards them, "UH WHAT NOW!!"Cedar yelled quickly.

"Rrrrrruuuuunnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!"

Cedar bolted to the sidr as fast as his puny legs could take him, they were in front of a tree and the hawk slammed into the tree.
