Ok. So when I ordered my 10 chickens from MPC I ordered for all females. They are now 8 weeks old. And the last 2 mornings I have been awakened by a crowing coming from the coop at 5am. And once I open the coop door so they can all come out there is no more crowing.

Problem is I don't know which one is making the noise. Can someone look at the images I have at :

And let me know if you can tell from the images or how I can tell between them?

My girls will be devastated if we have to kill one. Would rather find a home for him.

Wow... none of them look very rooish. I was going to guess, but I don't think I can even do that. Hope you figure it out!

I can't tell who the roo is, but they are all lovely and you have a gorgeous coop and yard!

I rehomed my oops-roo via craigslist. I interviewed people who answered the ad and found him a great home on a milk goat farm with a harem of 13.

I'm no expert, but I'd say it's the one on your foot. Just got rid of an 8wk EE roo whose comb looked just like that one.

The EE on my foot was the last one I would have thought. When I go to the coop to see who is crowing he is normally in a nesting box sleeping away from everyone else who is roosting in the coop.

He is also 1 of 4 that are the most friendly and loves to be held and petted by myself and my girls.

I guess I will have to wait a few more weeks. What is the tell tale sign I can look for.
