Hi my name is Katherine and I have a chicks hatching in about 2 weeks and I was wondering what they

would look like.

The cross is a Black Giant Jersey Rooster and a Black and White Silver Laced Wyandotte hen, I know that

they would be mostly black because of the string gene in both of there parents but I still wanted to know the

pattern or even the other colors that they could possibly be.

Most of the time, the chick's inherit their mothers color pattern. So they will probably look like their Black and Silver mother. I've noticed that in my flock.

In Theory the Color comes from the male and the shape from the female.
Some where on the internet there is a chicken calculator that you just plug in the color of the parents and it will give you the possibilities of the offspring. Try googling for it, I have seen it.
