A sad find - and loss.. what a blow

ugh

i let my cochin momma and her 4 babies out to toddle around in the hen house today. when i went back to check on them i found the little barred rock mix drown in the big hen's water bucket. i have no idea how he got his little self in there - the bucket was tall and they havent gotten to the 'flippy flyer' stage.

i'm gutted.

a sad find indeed. my husband took him way out in the woods but my little heart is broken

I am sorry for you and know how you feel. Last Sun. I found my one and only Sebbie Gosling drowned. I was so so sad all evening. He was such a little sweet heart.

I'm also so sorry too. I had my little Old English end up in our mop bucket. I really got attached to that little girl too. It is very sad. Like someone else said, lets hope the rest live long, happy lives for you.
