Hello BYC community,
I was here about 9 years ago when our three youngest and I successfully hatched 10 out of 18 eggs for a science project. [and gave the baby chicks to friends w/ chickens]
It was a super cool experience and I've been wanting to do it again for a LONG while. And that time if finally here! Our youngest is 12, yikes; and barely remembers the last hatch. Our neighbor would like to add some chickens to his flock and agreed to let us do the hatching!! Woot woot. In preparation, I am studying all the notes, photos and videos we made of our own project and I am back on the hatch "how to" articles here on BYC. This is my one stop #1 resource.
