Okay: Feeding my girls Purena Layena and sometimes give them purena 3 way scratch and fruit on occasion - no citrus.

I have one chicken who lays eggs with such a thin shell they often brake but it is not a jelly shell. A few times when it hasn't broken, I have cracked it and just given it to the girls.

I have another chicken who lays eggs with extra bumps of calcium deposits, Almost like little beads of embossing powder.

Rest of the girls lay good hard eggs.

Just wondering what your thoughts might be.

That's a great link that Gritty posted. I've seen that before and found it most informative. If your girls are new to laying, egg shell quirks are not unusual. When my Barred Rock started out, she would lay thin shelled, no shelled and wrinkled shell eggs. She got over it and is my best layer now. Make sure, if you're not already, to let them have free choice access to supplemental calcium in the form of oyster shell and/or crushed egg shell. Those that need it will help themselves.
