This is Exhibit A for why I don't use anything other than an electric screwdriver for my construction projects.

My husband asks for help once in a while. He will say I need you to xxxxx. My first words are usually I don't know how. To which he says , its easy just xxxx.. I will show him this when he gets home, after he finishes laughing his butt off he will probably make a note to never ask me for help again

I hope you heal up fast and as painless as possible. Also give your wife a hug from all of us wives that try our best to help out our husbands the best we know how!

I was proud when I bought my first cordless electric drill. I was more proud when I bought my circular saw. I was even MORE proud - but somewhat scared - when I bought myself a jig saw.

I have now decided I will not need to purchase a nail gun. Missing the nail now and then with the hammer is so much less nasty than having an OOPS! with a nail gun, I can see that!

OUCH!

In our family that would have been MY hand! My hubby, who I love dearly, is inept at using any tools whatsoever. Luckily, I know how to use tools.
I was hanging the gate on my chicken run and needed another hand so I asked hubby to 'hold this with the pliers for a sec', next thing ya know there was a 1/2" chunk outta my finger! I try really hard NOT to ask for that kinda help!

I love helping my hubby with projects like this, but don't know much about most of the tools! Now I'll be scared to touch anything that plugs in!

Good God; you mean you didn't give her a 15 minute safety lesson before handing her the gun?

My husband gives me the same safety lecture every time he hands me one of his tools to use. - But, it has worked, I've never shot him and I've used his nail guns plenty of times.

Thanks ladies. My wife is a sweetheart. She was mortified that she shot her newlywed husband

She showed the girls at work the picture and they couldn't beleive it. They told her that I must really love her because I didn't yell at her for shooting me

I do though, she is great.

She claims that she was just doing me a favor though. I had surgery on my feet last weekend and they still hurt quite a bit. She said that she shot me so I would stop thinking about my feet as much

We always tend to look at the positive side of things

And just for the record, the only tears that were involved in the making of this accident were the tears that rolled off my cheaks from laughting . . . . . . . no seriously, it really didn't hurt at all
