A Very Peculiar Chicken.

This is Princess Lay-A. she was smaller than the rest and had a bare neck, but feathers on her head, she was an Americana and was very peculiar. She would follow you around, wander off and get lost, and had no fear of any other animals.
Any ideas on why she was so unusual?

Could just be her personality. I have an Easter Egger who likes to tuck herself under my arm when she sits in my lap, and a RIR who loves to lean up against me and purposely drip water onto the dirt to eat it. Who knows! They are all individuals .

I have one who, for the last 7 yrs, jumps over the fence just to eat Mum's plants! She would also go out of our yard to lay in a pencil pine
She also had trouble hatching... but, seems bright enough. High in the pecking order!

She was weird I'll tell you that. Remember when we got rid of Skittles she started growing her feathers back... Which might be why she had no neck feathers
