I recently posted about one of my chickens being ill. She had a mild case of dry pox and was quarantined and cared for. She has since recovered and is doing well.
Since putting her back in with my other girls I have noticed her being mercilessly bullied. I believe I know which of them is the biggest instigator but once she starts something, the other 4 start in on the poor girl as well. I'm not sure what I should do. They have a run that is plenty big enough for all of them. I have multiple roosts around the run and in the coop and I do my best to give them a good boredom buster activity as often as possible. I am beginning to think about rehoming the chicken that is picked on for her own well being. I really don't want to though so if anyone has any other ideas that might help me out I would really appreciate it!
Thank you in advance.

Thats a tough one for sure! Maybe you could consider adding additional feeding / watering stations to try and reduce competition? After that and from my very limited experience i am not sure what else you can do (unless you start to free range them on your property).

The recovered bird became a 'stranger' in her absence from the flock, that's why they attacked her.
You'll need to start the integration process to reunite her with the flock, unfortunately single bird integration is the hardest.

Keep her separate but within sight of the flock, best if just separated by some wire, for a couple weeks.
Feed them treats along the fence line after a few days, so they get used to 'sharing' food
Then maybe add one of the flock birds to her pen, if that goes well you can maybe add...

......wait, how many birds do you have?
Do you have the ability to set up and adjacent pen?
