Greetings everyone!
I've raised layers and meat chickens for somewhere around 5 or 6 years and have learned a little but would like to learn a lot more about raising chickens! We currently have 15 - 15 week old Red Star hens and 1 unknown breed rooster from Murray McMurray hatcheries. He's a pretty guy with golden saddle and neck feathers. Will post a pic later to see if anyone knows what breed he is.
I'm a retired aviation mechanic and machinist, worked for USAir and several MRO companies.
I enjoy archery hunting, fishing in the summer and winter, raising chickens, photography and gardening.
The thing that I enjoy most in life is the love of a very special person..my wife and absolute best friend!
