A working prototype egg turner

Update I have been working out the bugs.
The rubber bands make the egg want to flip end over.
So I moved the all to the ends.
I have it in the bator now and seems to work pretty well.
The eggs move a little down the rods a little at a time.
When they get to the end they will have to be moved to the top,
I would say every few days or so.
Not perfect but much less work then turning each egg over by hand.

Don't mind the temps Sponge Bob and Temp. was sitting out of the box
as I worked, a little at a time.

injunjoe is this a 12 v system you have for an incubator? If so, could you explain how you made this please?
If this is not a 12 v system, could you explain how you hooked up the fan?
Thanks a bunch

Thanks for the Info share Joe. I really like the thought process here. I am assuming that the eggs move toward the small end and if you make one side a little higher... A hot dog machine as an incubator? That is a great Idea, just wire in an agastat to the motor, a micro-switch here a micro-switch there, move the eggs on day 17 or 18 to a hatcher...:thun

The rubber band will not last long so it best to replace something more durable like bungee cord. Where do you get the part? If you don't mind, provide the part list and where to get them.

injunjoe all the pictures are gone, I could see one picture in google images, I think your idea is greatttt for a cheap-manual-no-stress-egg-turner. I was hoping if you could again post your pictures for the turner you made... It will be great help.
