AAAH!! My Angela is DEAD!

Angela went broody a few days ago. Last evening a raccoon got into the barn which was open and snatched my poor darling from the nest she tried to protect. Angela was my pride and joy! She was so beautiful, and I'll never get another hen like her because she was a mutt! I put her eggs in the bator, but they will be a mix of Angela and probably a red pyle OEGB. I miss my little girl!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Angela was very pretty and she knew that she was loved. Thank goodness you'll have a part of her in her offspring. Please post pictures of her chicks when they hatch.
