Abandoned rooster

Howdy! How kind of you to feed an abandoned rooster. Unfortunately, this does happen. Either through an unkind person dumping the bird, or the rooster being sent on his way by a dominant rooster. Don't be afraid to contact animal control or local veterinary offices to see if they know of someone who takes in unwanted fowl. Now.....on the other hand this is the perfect opportunity to start thinking about your own flock!
