Hello all! I have a 4 year old blue wyondotte who is looking under the weather- her poop looks as pictured, yellow and watery - is this a sign of anything?
Is she laying/does she still lay regularly? Any swelling between her legs and vent (water belly)? Her crop functioning normally? Does her vent and butt look clean? When was the last time you dewormed your flock?
By four years old the incidence of cancer and other serious diseases in hens becomes noticeable and is definitely a concern with that type of poop.... It looks like it's mostly mucus which would be a sign of inflammation, but hard to know if the root problem is worms, infection, or some other disease.
