Evening my new chicken peeps, I have a question or a concern I was hoping to get some advice on. I hatched out 20 chicks about a week ago and one has a very abnormal wing. I didn’t notice it at first but when I examined the wing it seems like there is no feeling in it. The chick seem to drink and eat fine and gets around but might not be as sturdy. So I guess my question is has anyone else seen this and can it live with the rest as normal?

I don't think an abnormal wing would make much difference in a chick's ability to live with others. If it's getting around okay, eating and drinking all right, I think this baby is just special and quite okay.

I have and have had a few birds that weren't "normal." They didn't realize they were different, and neither did their flock mates.

That’s great thank you so much for your reply I will just keep my eye on it and hope your right I guess I’ll just have to lower a roosting bar for it as I don’t think it would be able to get up to the one I have.
