? about hatching eggs..UPDATE PICS!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. I just checked the 3 eggs under my hen. They all have a place that is broken. This time it looks like from the inside out. I put a flashlight to them just to see and one end is dark and the other is light. I did see some movment in them. Heartbeat like. I just did it for a few seconds. I will let her do them. They do not looked crushed like the other one.

Today is 19. I hope that this is the way it should go.

sounds like you have a hatch going on to me definantly sounds like pipping. i have 42 eggsin the bator startin to hatch rite now too we can hatch together. yayyyyyyy

Everything sound right. The dark end is where the chick is and the light end is the air sack. You may be able to hear internal peeps. Your hen may not like that though. You should have chicks soon. Congrats and enjoy!

Here is a shot of one of the babies. It was hatched out early this morning. It has been out a bit pecking on momma's comb and wattles!!! The second one has not been as brave. It is much smaller.

How cool and exciting this must have been. I have an incubator from way back when we had turkeys. I am so excited about maybe in the future getting some eggs to hatch out.
