About how many eggs would I expect

to get with approximately 30 hens...

breeds include:

BR
RIR
Red Sexlinks
Turkens
BA

ETA:
3 EE'ers
2 light brahmas...

Thanks...I'm trying to make an estimate so I know about how many eggs i'll get a day/week,
so I can figure out how many to sell/give away and if i need to get more hens to meet my
ppl who are already asking to buy eggs...

of course; mine are only 5 wks old lol..so we have a while; but I'm just learning now

Your numbers compared to mine, I say about 20 a day, when all are laying. The turkens won't lay as much as the rest, at least in my experience.

Those are all good layers. When they finally are all laying consistently after the month of pullet eggs, you should get at least two dozen a day.

If less, look for hidden nests.

Mine each laid about 6 eggs a week. Seems like they each took one day off a week. Which was ok with me.

Out of 7 (2 year old) hens and 19 (9 month old) pullets I get between 19 - 26 eggs. Way more eggs than I need! Good luck
