were your EE's when they first started laying? My little girl is 14 weeks old right now, and I'm thinking she may lay here in about 6-8 weeks. Would that be about right?

My EEs were rather late layers, about 22 - 24 weeks old, if I recall correctly.

I have heard they take a little longer than most .... I have 3 that are only 10 weeks now, so eagerly awaiting...!

My EE is 24 weeks and no eggs yet. She's been squatting for 1.5-2 weeks and her comb is big and red. Yesterday she kept going in and out of the nest boxes, so hopefully soon!
