This is my first year to attempt to hatch chickens. So far, I have no chickens but am hoping to have many chicks soon. I own a dog and a hamster right now. I love chickens because it is very fun to watch chicks grow in eggs and help raise them up! I would love to Join BYC because I need advise on my current eggs that I am trying to hatch. Since I am pretty new, I am having some problems with humidity and candling. I have known BYC for a year so far and I have learned so many new things to help me improve my hatch rate. The threads are pretty fun to read too!

Love your avatar. Chicks are basically pretty much the same. At 6-8 weeks, if you post individual photos at "what breed or gender is this?" the good folks there may be able to determine just what you have.
