About My 4 Hens!

Hello, I live in Arizona and am new to BackyardChickens. I have four 2 year old Australorps, and I am so excited about learning more and more about how to responsibly raise and care for them! Chickens have always been one of my favorite animals, and over the past several years, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching them grow from black fuzzy chicks to stunning hens! I just know that I will find lots of helpful information on this great forum! I am currently raising mealworms for my flock, and have about 1,000 worms. I love collecting and throwing them to my hens! It is their favorite treat! It is funny to watch them scurry about as they catch the "tasty" morsels! They will even hop off the ground to peck a worm that I am holdinig! Raising chickens is an enjoyable and beneficial hobby that I think everyone should try!
