I'm sorry if this has been addressed already. But when I ask what quineas are good for, I always hear "ticks...they eat ticks" Well...that's all fine and good, but if I were to get them, how would I keep them from pooping every where? How would I keep them off my porches. How would I keep them from pooping where my tot plays. If I penned them up, that wouldnt' really help the tick populous. If I let them free range....well...seems poo would be a major factor.

Any opinions or suggestions appreciated

Generally, after the brooding stage, guinea poop is fairly dry. Rarely did I ever even notice any around the place. And you're right, unless you let them range and do what they're best at, much of their value is lost.
