? about silkies

I have ordered some buff orps,barred rock, and some black austrolorp hens from a hatchery.now my wife wants some white silkies.my ? is will the silkies get along with the other hens if they are raised together as chicks or should i build a seperate coop and yard for them?

They will be fine if raised together. The only thing is is that most hatcheries dont sex bantams, and silkies are bantams. You could end up with a lot of roos. But they will be fine.

My splash silkie grew up with the standards and they are all fine.
We also just introduced a Buff Silkie into the flock and he/she is doing
fine too. There are a few standards missing and there are feathers scattered
around but I think it's just a coincedence.
