Hola friends!
This is my first time using a incubator. I bought a Hova bator 1602n with automatic turner, no fan so i had to install it.
I have more than 24 hours trying to stabilyze temperature. The incubator brings a 1825 - Hova-Bator Thermometer, now, when looking a temperature, i can see that in the center of the incubator, under the fan, temperature is more stable and just vary no more than 1° f. Ussually goes on 99-100° . When i put the thermomether in the border, temperature goes higher and with a bigger rank (98.8 to 101°) i think something like that.
Wich lecture do you think is correct about? wich one can I follow better?
Best, Roy.
PD: I will try to breed quails and pheasants

That sounds normal. My incubator is a perfect temp right under the heating element, but gets cooler on the far side and warmer on the closer one. Its the same range as yours. Just be sure to rotate the egg positions so they all get incubated evenly. Otherwise the ones on the warmer edge will develop faster and the ones on the cooler side will be slower.

Thank you about MGG! yes my situation is the same but other side, on the sides is warmer hehe.
I put 4 reeves pheasant eggs, in 2 days will put golden eggs and in 7 days quail eggs, and will see what happens.
You have good born rates with your parameters?
Best, Roy.
