ABOUT THE NC OUTBREAK

I gathered from the post that no one's birds have ILT... they found an infection of MG which can LEAD to ILT. That is how I understood the post. I have found nothing stating either is true, but I would like to know where the person lives to sent the original email? The name of the person was withheld, but do they live in Hope Mills or somewhere else? NCchick was is your birds tested?

Can we clarify from the original poster please?

Ok, well there isn't a record of this with the state though? Maybe they jumped the gun on her flock? This is weird that I can't find anything.

I think they have MG, but it was thought to be the other when first saw. It was tested and isn't ILG or whatever abreviations are. I didn't know it was going to cause issues with everyone, I just figured those in the state needed to know. If you keep your chickens away from other flocks, fairs and auctions and wash hands/shoes before and after messing with them, you should be fine.

Easy way for attention? Oh-kay.

Yes, it is worrisome, definitely residing in that state and thinking something that serious is here. For sure. I won't deny that one bit.

Has that poster come back to say that they have indeed told her it was not that after all and she will not lose her flock or is she letting it stand as it is?

:mad:OMG please let it go. I posted an email when it still stood UNKNOWN to many people. If I knew how to delete a post, this one would be. Stop fussing and bickering about someone in particular.
