I have a Rouen and a Crested that I got in February, and a Pekin I got in April. Yesterday, I found one egg, and today I found two more (pictures in order of appearance). I am confused because they all look the same; and by the timeliness. I figured that my Pekin would lay later than the others, and I fully expected my Rou's egg to be smaller or rather, the crested's and pekin's would be larger.
I know that human females', and other female mammals' cycles synch up but do birds'? And will they always lay in random places? They have plenty of safe options but all three eggs were carelessly left in the open, all in different places but within the same area of their yard. There is zero possibility they're fertilized, if that's relevant.

Ducks when first laying drop eggs all over the place...They usually lay in the morning...It takes a bit of time for them to get into the rhythm of laying..I provide Pine Shavings in the coops and all Hens build nests to lay in..Keep collecting the eggs daily..Provide oyster shell in a separate bowl for them...
