About to start my first hatch.....I am so nervous about it.
Is this normal??
I want this to be fun.....and it is so exciting, but I am afraid I am going to screw up something.
I got eggs from Dipsy (Lisa) and the silkie eggs are so tiny and cute. I really want little fluffyones to raise......I have read so many threads of good results and bad results, I guess the only thing left to do is take the plunge.
I will start about this time tomorrow after the eggs sit for 24 hours after shipping.

GAhen, yes it is normal.LOL You will feel this way with a bunch of hatches, it is about the 15 to 20th that you finally think, Ahhhh, last one.. Oh did I mention that is usually in the first year..lol Kidding aside. If you keep your temps and humidity close to normal you should do just fine, if you are turning them by hand make sure to turn an odd number if times so that overnight is on different sides. I have always had good hatches from Lisa's eggs so you should have some nice fuzzies when you are done. Good luck. Jenn

I have yet to take the plunge - but I have my bator - I plan on hatching some of my own mutt eggs before I have any eggs sent to me.
I will start my journey into hatching this weekend
