Abscess on beak 3 month old pullett

Any idea what is going on with this hen's beak? Saw it 4 days ago and it's getting bigger

Is that something you can try to clean out with hydrogen peroxide? It is hard to see details, so a more clear picture may be needed. Feed and mucus can get stuck in the nostrils, forming a concrete-like material. Tumor or cysts could also be possible.

Looks linda like dry fowl pox on her beak. Huh. I wonder if it's maybe even just a scab from a pecking injury.

We are So. CA, we have had more mosquitoes than normal this year.

It might be Fowl Pox, but looking at the texture, I wonder if it's a Papilloma. @Eggcessive what do you think?

For me, it's one of those things that I would observe for a few days to see what happens.
If you wish to do something now, then the only thing I would try is painting it with a little Iodine.

Betadine or povidone iodine would be fine to paint on the lesion, as Wyorp Rock recommended. If you see more scabs show up on her or other chickens (on the face, comb, or wattles,) then take another picture. I hope is it just a papilloma virus or maybe fowl pox, but I think it will take time to figure it out. Walmart, and most drug and feed stores stores sell it.
