Did the ole incubate some eggs and got some chicks and decided to keep some!!
Gave 12 chicks to the School I worked in where i set up a massive chicken "farm" where they provide eggs for the kitchen.
So I have 4 baby chickens.
1 bantam i dont know what type
1 silver laced wyandotte
1 gold laced wyandotte
1 barnevelder
I think the first 3 are hens, but i dont know about the barny. ive put a pctre of him in the what gender part of the forum...
I dont know much about keeping them. theyre in a coop in my garden adn free range during the day.
Im going on a chicken handling course in a few weeks which im quite excited about!!
Basically I feed them and clean them out, let them in the garden in the morning and spend an age chasing them back into their coop with a bowl of food later in the day!!!
Im a proper novice!!
