last year I raised BB Bronze and had to also try a heritage bronze as well. Well as the ending said she watched her girly weight and became my pet. She now lives with the egg hens. I do have a question though every day I go out and she makes all these calls to me, the kee kee run and also a hen assembly call and has now started to chirp quite loudly after doing the kee kee call. Before I put her with the chickens for the winter she would come with me to feed all the animals and when we would be done she would lay down and flutter her wings and make me pick her up and take her to her pen. What is going on with this bird. She is just a sweeet little girl but I think she is confused.

She wants some loving. and not just cuddling if you get my drift.

You can love your animals, but don't *love* your animals.

She wants you to massage her back the same way a tom would with his feet by mounting her. She''ll probably also like it if you squeeze the base of her tail. FWIW, a 4-H kid told me that the mounting/mating process helps them move the egg into position, but I don't know how true that is.
