Accidental Removal of Umbilical Cord

So I accidentally cleaned off the umbilical cord while cleaning a pastry vent. How concerned should I be or what should I look for? I didn't know there was one until reading a blog that pointed the belly button out.

Hello and Welcome To BYC! Is the chick bleeding or anything? How old is it? You might put something like Neosporin (without pain killer) on it. If it looks like the chick has a problem you might want to post on the Emergencies section with a picture www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures

@Kelsie2290 no bleeding: after I removed it I was so confused that I just kinda kept staring at it and nothing came out. She is 3 days old
