accidently bought 24% chick starter-will it work?

I am glad I found this thread. I was about to ask the same question. I have an easter egger, 2 australorps and 1 delaware that are about 4 weeks old and have been giving them 24% starter and was wondering If I should go to 20%. I think I will keep giving them what I got.

i only use 24% i dont use the 20% at all. it wont hurt them its actually better for them.

I assume it is ok to let them outside to peck aound for an hour or so each day at this age?

My chick starter is rated at 23% protein. Good for 'em!
You should have no problem at all with this.
