Acidified copper sulfate and chicks.

I want to treat my flock with acidified copper sulfate. However I have a few 5 week old chicks that run with the flock. Can it hurt for them to drink the one source of water as well?

What's the reason for treating them, do they have Canker?

For me, I would not give ACS to 5week old chicks if they are healthy, active, eating/drinking, etc.

I think it's for sour crop, too, but I doubt 5-week-old chicks have that either.

Yes, it can be used to treat Sour Crop as well, but I don't see a whole flock having Sour Crop at once.
