Acites ??

Hey Flock! I am kinda worried, because I have 3 hens with large, squishy abdomens... I have been trying to research acites, but I cannot find much... Please help!

Can you take pictures of these birds...including shots of there read ends and belly area.

When you camera battery has finished charging.

I may not be able to get some until tonight, because they are a bit flighty, and unless they are chickens that will come sit in your lap (I do have some of those though) your pretty hard pressed to get them out of the run.

Do their abdomens feel like they are filled with fluid? What do their combs look like? Have their combs turned darker?

their abdomens feel very squishy.. I'm honestly not sure what it would feel like if they were filled with water their Combs are bright red, and they are not lethargic or anything.. besides the swollen abdomens, they seem fine.
