Do chickens like the water? I think that mine would freak out if I tryed to put them in water!

my hens are funny. If it's raining they don't mind playing out in it (except the anti-social wynadottes, they turn up their beaks at playing in the rain).
If I turn on the sprinkler, they run. If I have the hose, they run. When I spray the sand in the coop, they run away, then run and bathe in the wet sand when I turn off the hose.
