ACK! Just spiller lighter fluid everywhere!

It's all over the front porch and the mostly full container has a hole in it. How do I clean this up? I don't want my house burning down! I hosed it off, but now I'm thinking that was the wrong thing to do. What do I do?!!

My cat litter is the wood pellet kind that turns into sawdust. Isn't that just adding fuel to the fire?

I would try Dawn dish detergent on a damp rag.

I think you're fine. Whatever the water didn't get will evaporate.

I dumped the extra fluid in a bucket with the kitty pellets and some water. Hopefully all the flammable part has burnt off. The house is still standing at any rate.

Chicken lovers usually have DE and/or "Stall Dry" at home. That would take care of the spill.
