ack!!! what is this on her face and neck?

Marsala, Rhode Island Red. I circled the areas in the photos - yesterday afternoon she did not look like this...I DID notice at that time that it looked like a thin spot might be forming on her neck, thought maybe somebody had pecked her...clearly this is not that. The one on the back of her neck looks worse than the photo showed (reminds me of porcupine quills), I could not get a good photo, she's the flightiest of my girls and does not want to be touched, ever. I don't see anything similar going on with the other 3 (buff orpington, black australorp, sapphire gem).

She's just molting, those are new feathers growing in! Nothing to worry about!
