Most, if not all duck breeds are extremely resilient when it comes to weather. Being able to take the coldest weather and the warmest weather. Muscovies, for example, are native to Mexico, and Central/south America, and do just fine in heat.

I am embarrassed to say when you mentioned you had Jumbo Pekins, I thought you said you have jumbo pecans. I really do love pecan nuts.
